The Station Collective was founded in late 2020, by local family, Jess, James, and Zeik. The Station Co. has a strong focus on fresh, local ingredients, integrating native flavours with familiar fare. As a proud Wiradjuri chef, it was a natural progression for James to celebrate the coming together of culture and community with dishes that feature ancient ingredients with a modern twist.
The Station Co. offers a truly unique dining experience on the platform of the heritage listed Coolamon Railway Station, built in 1880. Like many of the repurposed historic buildings in the Coolamon Shire, the railway station is steeped in history and nostalgia. As an operational train line, customers will often dine next to large freight trains, being filled with grain from the adjacent silos or receive a friendly wave from travelers on the passing passenger train.
